Shoyeido Kyo-yaki Round Incense Burner Overglaze Enamel with Dutch Design (724502)

An original round incense burner in the Kyo-yaki style, decorated with overglaze enamels. The timeless geometric patterns depict foliage motifs, said to resemble tobacco leaves. Made of ceramic (Kyo-yaki).

Please remove the lid when using. If burned with the lid on, oxygen inside the burner will be insufficient and the incense may go out.

Fill with ash to stand incense sticks, or use it for kneaded incense (neriko), pressed incense (inko), or fragrant woods in soradaki (indirect heating).
