Kousaido Incense Price Update (Effective April 1, 2026 JST)

We would like to inform our customers about an upcoming price update for products from the Kyoto incense maker Kousaido.

Manufacturer Price Revision

Kousaido has announced that prices will be revised starting April 1, 2026 (Japan Standard Time).

According to the manufacturer, this change is due to the continued rise in raw material costs, logistics and transportation costs, and various production expenses.

Despite efforts to maintain current prices through production improvements and cost reductions, the company has determined that maintaining the current pricing is no longer possible while preserving product quality and stable supply.

When the New Prices Apply

• Orders placed before April 1, 2026 (JST): current prices
• Orders placed on or after April 1, 2026 (JST): updated prices

If you are considering purchasing Kousaido products, you may wish to place your order before the price change takes effect.

This price revision applies to a large portion of the Kousaido lineup.

The list below includes the product number, product name, and approximate price increase for affected items and items with no change.

Actual prices are not listed here because the displayed price in our store may vary depending on exchange rates and regional currency conversions.
