Founded in 1849 in Kamikawa, Hyogo, Seijudo began as a maker of cedar-leaf powder for incense materials, started manufacturing sticks in 1872, and in 1975 launched Japan’s first low-smoke incense. It later developed the industry’s first automatic incense-making machine. Signature lines such as Shikobai and the ultra–low-smoke Towa reflect dependable craftsmanship and scents designed for modern living.
