Fragrant osmanthus (kinmokusei) arrived in Japan in the Edo period and has become a beloved face of the Japanese autumn. A fragrance that captures the distinctive sweet, citrus-like scent of the small orange flowers blooming along autumn lanes.

[How to Burn]
1. Light the tip of the incense, then put out the flame and let it smolder.
2. Always use a nonflammable dish such as an incense plate. Place the included holder on the dish and stand the incense in it.
* Burning the incense a little away from you, out of the smoke, lets you enjoy its true fragrance.
* The lingering scent after the incense has burned out is also part of the enjoyment.
* Burning incense in advance is a fine way to welcome guests.
