Osagawa Nisaburo Shoten Gokujo Zukoh 6g

A spread-on type of incense made by blending various powdered herbal medicines into a fragrant mix. It is said to be the oldest form of incense. Before formal methods of using incense were established, fragrance was enjoyed by applying tree bark, leaves and grasses directly to the body, just like zuko. In Japan it is commonly used to purify the body before entering a temple.
