What excited me most about this incense was the look of the packaging. The box is really beautiful and elegant.
For the scent, out of the box, it has a note that reminded me of chromo paper or new laminate, along with a clean, dry aroma that brought up associations with new packaging materials. To me, this gave the incense a slightly synthetic character, which was less in keeping with my personal tastes.
After lighting, I just didn’t smell anything. The smell was so faint. I don’t know if it’s a problem with this batch or what, but I didn’t get any scent, not even a whiff of burnt wood. When I get really close to the smoke, I smell something subtle, quite pleasant, reminiscent of a cool breeze on the beach.
