Kotonoha is Seijudo’s answer to a request they kept receiving: an incense made entirely from natural aromatic materials. Outside the very top of the market, almost no Japanese incense is 100% natural, so Seijudo built this line from traditional herbal aromatics and natural ingredients only, with no synthetic compounds whatsoever. More than a hundred trial formulations were made before they settled on it.

This assortment contains two boxes each of Kotonoha Sandalwood and Kotonoha Agarwood.

Kotonoha Sandalwood
Premium Indian sandalwood in generous measure, blended with a range of natural aromatics that deepen it.

Kotonoha Agarwood
Premium Vietnamese agarwood in generous measure, blended with a range of natural aromatics that deepen it.

An incense holder is included. The burning time is marked on the box, and the sticks can be broken to shorten it to suit the occasion.
